Week 3 - Study Strategies and Ethics
Part 1. Of the topics I explored last week I believe the study practices of 'recite' and knowing 'where to study' are the two study strategies that I should focus on improving. Reciting is not only important as it forces you to take more time with the material, but it also directs you into engaging with it as well. Having to recall the information you study helps to solidify it into memory. Knowing where to work is a key component in having an effective study session. Separating yourself from distraction and finding what works for you to help with concentration guarantees the full time spent studying will be effective. Part 2. This week had a focus on the ethics of computer science, much of it regarding the future of AI. With the advancement of AI will come the pushing of boundaries and the exploration of practices never seen before.
